THIS BOY !

Je vous présente mon dernier morceau, THIS BOY, en 2 épisodes :
1/2 la musique : composée avec l'un de mes meilleurs amis d'enfance, Stéphane Jeansens, bassiste, avec qui j'avais une alchimie musicale que je n'ai jamais retrouvée par la suite.
C'est l'une de mes compositions préférées.
Avec un accordage en ré, c'est du lourd, du bien grave. Des couplets psychédéliques sont entrecoupés de refrains nu-metal. Un passage punk-rock fait dérailler le titre.
J'adorais jouer cette composition en live, notamment avec les Crazy Cow. Le passage le plus pachydermique du titre était particulièrement jouissif à jouer.
À l'époque, notre inspiration était à chercher du côté des Deftones, avec leur morceau iconique Bored.
